Hello Are we alone?

Hi I just saw your ad on another site and thought I'd stop by and say hi.

Its a nice site and a nice idea you have. Hopefully soon you'll get more traffic and members.

I can add your link to a few sites I go too where theres lots of moms.

Cool I can say way back when I made the first post at typeamom.net biggrin and also voted on my own thread. lol

Yeah I have the same problem here where I live in Canada...I live in such a big city that really no one gets to know anyone. I have a neighbor that I used to work for...she has 2 year old boy-girl twins...To talk to but that's about it...It is nice to have lots of people around the world to talk to. I didn't even know you were from Spain...did you live in the UK??? Some of your english words is that english...like nappy...

I love the idea that half way around the world are moms who have the same hopes, ideas and frustrations that I have. What is great for me is that although I can speak fairly good Spanish, I don´t yet have mom friends here in Spain that I could have a good moan or a natter with. Well, now I do... click of a mouse and moral support at the other end! A great idea, and hope the site ends up being a kind of global mom site. I certainly tell the other ex-pat moms about it.

I experienced the same thing when I was overseas... we lived in France when my daughter was 1. I didn't make any real mom friends there, although I did speak French. I was in a big city (Nice), and there weren't an awful lot of moms there... and even fewer expat moms.

I think it is great that there are already moms from four countries (if my count is correct) who are on here. What's even greater is that we are all dealing with the same issues. Busy mom issues are just universal, I suppose... lol

I had to say I was number three because everyone else is doing it. Kelby I love your idea of having a site for mothers that we can say anything. And even share our opinions with each other too because there is nobody that knows better about things than moms. I have been looking for advice for ages and now I'm glad I can finally find it here.

razz So now we can all share laughs and tears and pictures, I can hardly wait to start.....

Thanks! I thought it would be a better experience than just having a place where it's a one-way street... moms can read, but can't write. Silly, really. Who knows better than moms about being a mom? lol

Hello! Yes, I just launched the site. How exciting to have a post! And that is too funny. You will definitely have special status as the first poster here. I appreciate you spreading the word.
