Backyardigans
Review of Backyardigans, a Children's Show with Music Even Adults Can Enjoy

Backyardigans

The Backyardigans is one of those rare children's shows that actually isn't annoying to grown-ups who are subjected to it. Children learn an appreciation for music, dance and imagination. The music isn't your typical rhyming kids' tunes, but includes many genres of music and is fun to listen to.

BackyardigansBackyardigans is one of the newer children's shows, and it is a refreshing change from the typical preschool TV options. The 3D graphics animated TV show follows the adventures of five critters who meet in the backyard to play. The backyard is transformed to match their imaginations for adventures as vikings, pirates, surfers and detectives.

Backyardigans Music

The best thing about the show is its music, which covers a wide range of genres from ska and punk to zydeco and rock. When the characters, four animals and an unknown pink creature, sing these songs they also dance. Children from babies to older kids can enjoy the songs.
