Christmas Gifts for Babies
Make your baby´s first Christmas a memorable one!

Baby´s first Christmas is always an amazing time…but probably for the family around them more than the baby itself as they are hardly aware of the party season. Never-the-less as new parents we seem destined to spend oodles of money on gifts for the little ones, spend hours wrapping them only to find ourselves un-wrapping them 12 hours later, cooing in amazement at the gift we bought, then putting it away until they are old enough to play with it…usually just in time for next Christmas. So is there such a thing as a perfect present for a baby? Here I have tried to mix a few delightful toys to help stimulate and amaze as well as some gifts that the parents will enjoy as well.

Baby Einstein Octoplush – We have all become familiar with the Einstein collection, they offer educational toys, DVD’s and books for all ages. This colourful octopus is great for little fingers, introducing textures and music to little ears, and as baby grows this clever creature will help promote awareness of colours through repetition…and all this is 3 different languages! Baby Portrait Plan - One for the parents - what better way to celebrate babies first year than by capturing it on film? Many of these packages offer 3 separate sittings spread out across the year, so you can see them grow from tiny baby to toddler. I can`t offer a link because you need to choose a local photographer you feel comfortable with.

Organic Gifts – Trying to find a gift that doesn’t cost the earth is no longer that difficult. Sumboshine offer organic yet incredibly appealing gifts for babies, from teddies to teething rings. Organic Baby Toysexternal link

Hand and Foot imprints – this is a really great way of remembering how tiny they really were! You can create mugs, plates, canvasses or framed pictures with these easy to use kits. Baby hand and Footprintsexternal link

Check out this range of adorable and funky baby gifts, from dinner sets to nappy bags – practical, but most importantly, undeniably cool as well! Funky Baby Giftsexternal link

With so much to choose from you should find something to make Junior´s first Xmas really special...for both of you!
