Homemade Fruit and Vegetable Puree Recipes for Babies

Here are some yummy puree recipes for babies 6 months and older. These baby food recipes include a vegetable puree, pear and blueberry puree, and a strawberry peach and apple puree.

Vegetable Puree (Creamy)
1 tbsp rice cereal (of the baby variety)
3 tbsp milk (the kind your baby is using)
1/4 cup vegetable puree (mix any combination you want)
Mix the baby cereal and milk together. Add the vegetable puree and stir until well combined.
Pear/Blueberry Puree
(Caution: Berries can sometimes cause allergic reactions in little babies. Don't give them to your baby if you have a concern or if they had a sign of allergic reaction before.)
1 pear peeled, core out and chopped up
1/4 cup blueberries
1 1/2 tbsp rice cereal (of the baby variety)
Put the fruit in a saucepan and let simmer for 5 minutes. Puree the fruit and stir into the cereal. (Serve luke-warm)
Strawberry/Peach/Apple Creamy Puree
4 strawberries (hull removed)
1 peach peeled, pitted and cut up
1 apple peeled, cored and cut up
Put fruit in saucepan and simmer 4 to 5 minutes. Puree and then add to rice cereal.
