Hello, all! My name is Sherry, and I'm the new Twins and Multiples editor here at Type-A Mom. I'm the proud twin momma of 2 1/2 year old boy/girl twins, Max and Sara, and I've lived to tell the tale.
I suppose I'm a full-time Mom, but those days are dwindling to a
close with the rapid approach of preschool this fall. We're busily
working on potty training drills, sharing strategies and nap
reassignments, all of course times two.
At the current moment, we're
emotionally swamped, but each day I tick off the calendar reminds me of
how much I'll miss having to report to toddlers once they embark on
full-time school.
Raising twins, especially toddlers, trumps even
my most enviable experiences, albeit in a most constrasting way. Sure,
I once hobnobbed with musicians and record executives back when I
worked in broadcasting, but that holds nary a candle to sweet greetings
when my kids wake from a nap, or the looks on their faces when they
realize they've memorized a new song, or when they chase each other
around our tiny backyard screaming, "I'm gonna get youuuuuuuuuu!" all
the live long day.
Welcome to my little window into what
happens when you have more than one baby at a time. I sure hope you
come and take a little peek.
