The anticipation of that new little one coming into her life only to be shattered by a miscarriage is heartbreaking for a woman. The decision to conceive again is one the woman will have to make when she feels the time is right.

Doctors recommend that a woman should wait at least two months, before trying to conceive.  Even though a woman was pregnant for a short time, her body has gone through many changes.  Waiting gives the body time to go back to normal.

A woman should give herself plenty of time to grieve over the baby she has lost before trying to conceive again.  Many feel the sooner they become pregnant again the better they will be. This is not always the best choice.

There are women who fear trying to conceive again will lead to another miscarriage.  If a woman continues to miscarry, then test need to be done to see if there is any underlying medical condition.  The majority of miscarriages are the bodies way of saying there was something abnormal about the pregnancy that the woman had no control over.

Many women will have successful pregnancies after a miscarriage.
