Imagine laying in your bed at night or sitting at your desk and all of a sudden without warning everything around you is wiped out in an instant from a monsterous cyclone. Families and friends are missing and many have not survived this devastation. A possible count of 100,000 are completely wiped away from existance. For one country, this is reality. What is the country of Myanmar going to do to get through this? Can we help?

Tropical Cyclone Nargis has hit this country in the extreme. For those of you who do not know or have heard of Myanmar it is a Southeast Asian Country. The winds hit up to 120mph. Can you imagine such winds? We fortunately, have not had to endure such a catastrophy but what about those who have?

So many are homeless and without food and clothing. They are wandering about aimlessly with no hope of a solid future. As we are here whining about the gas prices, a messy house etc., they are there wondering how to get through a single day. We easily take way too many things in life for granted. The fact is we are to be happy and content with what we have since in an instant everything can be stripped away from us. It really helps put things into perspective if you really think about it.

There are currently 32 agencies that you can donate to, to help the victims of this tragedy. Check out this website link for further details. Lets remember to keep all the families that have survived in our prayers during this time.
