My son, L and I went out to run some errands yesterday. After hours of beating ourselves up with nonstop walking inside the mall (everything we need is in that mall, from bills payment to hardware etc.), we decided to call it a day. However, we're not leaving the place without eating anything. My son wouldn't allow that. It's an unspoken rule between me and the kids whenever we went out malling. Mall=eat. We finally agreed to have pizza for lunch. And so we ordered 2 personal pizza, seafood and mushroom pasta, Caesar's salad, chicken wings and Caribbean smoothies. We are that hungry!

The smoothies were served first followed by the chicken wings. We couldn't wait for the salad, which was served last (duh), so we ate the chicken wings right there and then. It was gone in less than five minutes. I noticed that the chicken wings have gotten small. Apart from being small, the wing was halved. So, one part is the meatier side and the other part is skin and bones. In reality, the 4 chicken wings were just 2 chicken wings. What a rip-off! The smoothies by the way was too sweet. We didn't even finish it.

So much for the chicken talk.

L was busy talking about the fiesta and the traffic last Saturday when something caught my eye. I thought there was a smudge of some sort on his upper lip. I looked closer and figured out that it's a budding moustache. A soon to be baby moustache. An impending moustache growth.

My son is in his tweens. How days fly...

Yeah, my daughter also has a mustache.

And that starts the whole woman/hair fight that will be her friend till the last hair on her chinny-chin-chin is plucked in the nursing home.

Boys are thrilled though, yes?
