In Ahmedabad, India, a mother went into premature labor setting on a toilet in a moving train. In India the toilets are placed over an open hole in the floor of the train. She was traveling with family but everyone was asleep when she went to the bathroom around midnight.

While in labor she fell unconscious and couldn’t get her baby or herself help. When a family member woke up about two stations later and knocked on the bathroom door, the women named Bhuri opened the door, soaked in blood.

When she was asked what had happened, she replied by saying that the baby had fallen through the hole and onto the tracks. The family immediately pulled the emergency brake on the train and a search was organized quickly. The baby was found an hour to two hours later with a low heart rate and a low body temperature.

It was a miracle that the baby survived being eight to ten weeks premature and weighing only 3.22 pounds. They do not expect the child to survive, but little girls are fighters and don’t like to give up. So, pray for this little baby girl who has not been named yet.

To read the whole store go to http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23386092/?GT1=10856 . I don't know how long they will have the story online.
