I'm sure this is something many are wondering about on the site. Here are some tips about how much to expect to earn. If you have questions about this, feel free to reply. If you have your own advice and tips about earning online, also please share.

• Don't expect to earn quickly. It doesn't work that way. You will earn more in the long run than you would with a pay-per-article situation, because you get paid for years for one article you take a few minutes to write. But one article alone will not bring you much money, especially before Google finds it.


• I have personally been writing for the Web in a very similar pay setup for several years, and I have a lot of experience with it. I also earn most of my income, which is not too shabby, in this manner. In my experience (which of course could vary depending on the person, the effort put in, and other factors), it takes about six months of regularly posting articles before you will see significant pay. Every month and year that follows, it just keeps improving.

After that initial period, it gets much easier because you are building on existing content that works while you sleep, so to speak. Here is an illustration. It's entirely hypothetical on dollar amounts, but gives you an idea how it works:

• Your first month, you write 10 articles. Each one takes about 20 minutes, for a total of 3.3 hours. Since you've just started posting, Google hasn't found your articles yet and they get very few page views. You earn just a couple dollars this month.


• The next month, you write another 10 articles. You spend 3.3 hours writing. You now have a total of 20 articles, and you earn twice as much this month.


• The next month, you only have time to write three articles. You're getting paid, however, on 23 articles, and you earn even more money than you did the first month.


• On the sixth month, you have written 50 articles and you are getting more steady and predictable revenue.

Another way to earn more money is to help spread the word about this site and your articles. You can use Invite a Friend in the right-hand menu or click the envelope icon next to any article to send your articles to friends. You can also use the buttons at the bottom of any page to submit your articles to social bookmarking and sharing sites like StumbleUpon, Propeller, etc. Just do not abuse this, or this entire site could be banned. It would be better to encourage your friends to socially bookmark and share your articles.

The single best way to earn fast is to add articles quickly. The reason it starts off slowly is you don't have a collection of articles earning revenue. The faster you build that critical mass of content, the sooner you will see your income increase.
