The summer months can be an exciting time as a family but, of course some summer fun costs extra money. There are ways to earn extra cash as a family for that extra summer fun boost.

getattachment6.jpgHave a family garage or yard sale. Have each member of the family go through all of their clothing and get rid of the apparel they no longer wear. Do this with toys as well. Moms and dads can also go through odds and ends of items throughout the house to get rid of as well.

The children can set up a lemonade stand to help earn that extra cash. Of course this is classic but it can work. Most people feel inclined to buy from children since they know they are working hard to earn money.

The same idea can apply to selling items on ebay, you may earn cash this way as well.

As a family you can put together a flier offering house services such as mowing the lawn, weeding, painting etc. People seeing that it's a family effort may feel comfortable hiring you. You can negotiate your rates before deciding the jobs. This can go over well with the senior citizen crowd.

Babysitting services can be offered throughout the week. Typing up an add and putting it in the local paper is advisable. Be prepared that one must have experience in this type of job, possibly taking babysitting courses will earn you that experience. This can be a fun mother and daughter experience as well.

There are so many ways a family can get creative to earn that extra money for summer fun. All that is needed is motivation and hard work to achieve your earning goals.
