Pulling up stakes and and moving your family to another city, state, or even country every few years isn't exactly conducive to building or maintaining your career. Locational stability is a luxury to many military families, and a luxury they have to do without.

No need to fret, though. There are myriad options out there for you if you want to work. One of these ways is to work from home.

They've got lots of info for WAHM newbies such as how to get started working from home, how to avoid scams (and there are TONS of those unfortunately), the many different kinds ofhome-based jobs, as well as a frequently updated job-posting list that is trust-worthy and scanned for scams. There are also quite a few military-centric web sites that offer advice and assistance to military spouses who want to get back in the work force. They offer advice on working from home also, but give tips and list job postings for other types of jobs as well. Many of them are government or DoD civilian jobs as well as AAFES and other on-post jobs.
