Any mom can be a writer at Type-A Mom, and we are currently seeking mom writers. Type-A Mom is all about sharing, and all about moms helping moms. The moms who build this site get a 50-50 share of the site's Google ads, and can keep 100 percent of affiliate revenue.
To get started, all you need to do is register to get more details on becoming a Type-A Mom writer. Once you are logged in, a new menu will appear at the top right with instructions on how to submit (including how to insert Adsense code into your account), how to post a Type-A Mom badge on your personal blog, and a variety of other tips and pages. We are also hiring mom editors.
Our sister site, Foodie Mama, is also hiring writers. You can also earn revenue by submitting great articles from your own site or blog, or anywhere on the Web, to the new momShare. If you're a dad, be sure to check out our openings at the new social network for dads, Dadosphere.
I've posted some information on how much money you should expect to make. If you write for Type-A Mom, you will share half the Google Adsense impressions for any articles you write. That means one article you write today will continue to earn you money for years to come.
This money can be accumulated directly in your own personal Adsense account, which you can sign up for through Google. You will also get various other benefits, including self-promotion through your profile (which will be accessed more frequently through your byline).
If you need any help, let us know! All writers retain complete rights to their work. Type-A Mom is run by a longtime writer, Kelby Carr, and I believe in writers retaining their own copyrights and having the ability to republish. When you post here, you are granting the Type-A Mom network non-exclusive rights to publish and keep your work on the site indefinitely.
From baby powder to the dirty diapers
From the cries to the coos
From birth to growing darlings
Looking forward to write for them, for you and for all Moms and Moms-to-be
When you registered, you should have received an email with links to instructions. You can find them by going to Mom Forums, then finding Mom Writers. There is a section in there on Getting Started with various tutorials.
I'm so glad to be here, too. What a great opportunity! I'm looking forward to not only writing articles but reading them - especially the ones on teens and work at home moms. I need those!
I'm a Stay-Home Mom -- eager to get back into writing. This is such a cool site! I look forward to gaining insight from all the Moms out there. Thank you for the opportunity!!

Can you give an idea, even a general one, of how much someone might earn with adsense. I s this an opportunity for someone to turn it into a part-timne job? Thanks!
I would suggest registering to get more details. You will get a share of the Adsense ads that display. The more you write, the more ads get displayed, and the more money you make. You can definitely turn this into a part-time income, but it does take a little time and effort first.
Hi again, I wrote an article but I am not sure how to get it published.
It appears to be published when I click on the link, but the status still shows unpublished. Do I need to get it reviewed by someone? thanks so much!
You just need to be sure when you're in the tabs at the bottom that you chose the Publishing tab, then choose Published. You also had the group to have access to it set to special, which basically means visitors can't see it. That should be Public. I hope that helps, and thanks!

Do you think there would be an audience on this website to talk to other moms about health, beauty and fashion? Because that is what I'd like to submit articles on.
I am trying to remember where I saw the new graphic/badge for the Type-A Mom editors, and can't remember if it was a new graphic on the old site, or a new graphic on this site.
Hello again! I wrote an article about post pregnancy fashion under safety and health (didnt know exactly where to put it)but I too had trouble figuring out how to publish it. Can you help?
Thanks!
I wrote an article on post pregnancy pounds in 2-08. I thought it was published (this was before you added the beauty and fashion section). Then I went in and tried to add the adsense code which I though I did successfully ,but now I cant find my article anywhere (except under "my articles" and it is marked unpublished). Can you help?
Hi! So glad to join everyone here at type-a mom.
This looks like a site that will be a great outlet for me to yap on about all things relating to "work at home/career for moms." My kids thank you as they've heard quite enough already.
I think I've set up my profile correctly I'll have to post a new photo soon
Do I now have to wait for my writer's/editor's status to be activated? I'm doing a few things at once this Sunday, so I may have missed a few details...
If you would like suggestions, just shoot me an email and I would be happy to provide some. Just let me know what your particular interests and areas of mom expertise are.
Thank you very much for not only this opportunity, but the opportunity in general that you are offering to all mom's who have the passion of the pen. I worked with Cheryl Wenzel to edit this article, but feel free to give me feed back if you prefer adjustments to be made. I am flexible.
My area's of expertise are vast. I have a 3 year old toddler, a set of 6 month old twins and I have been working for the past 10 years (until I became a SAHM) in the mental health field with children and adolescents. I have worked with mom's who were mental patients as well who had to give up their children. I've worked with many abused and neglected kids and I've worked with children in a day care center who were happy, well adjusted and pleased as pea's. I know arts and crafts for little kids and ran a summer program doing that. I have taught kids at a community college summer program for many years doing projects for learning and development and stuff like that. SO I'm not sure if any of this helps, but this is where I'm coming from.
