Great news! The highly anticipated book, "42 Rules for Working Moms" is now available online. This is a fantastic resource for all working moms, and I'm not saying that just because I am one of the 42 working moms who wrote a contributing "rule" for the book.

The book is the brainchild of Laura Lowell, a marketing executive and working mom who has produced a series of "42 Rules" books, including "42 Rules of Cold Calling Executives" and "42 Rules of Marketing." Laura was the Director of Worldwide Consumer Marketing Communications for Hewlett-Packard before branching out to start her own business, so she knows her stuff.

In "42 Rules of Working Moms", she brings together a diverse group of working moms: different cultures, industries, ages, relationships and perspectives. As contributors, we collectively possess years of experience in balancing our personal and professional lives, and come together to share our hard-earned lessons with other working moms.

As you might guess from reading my other posts, my chapter, or "rule", focuses on the dads in the family. Because my web site is a resource for working wives of stay-at-home dads (SAHDs), my "rule" advises all working moms to remember that dads are parents, too, and given the chance, can be mighty effective.

As the working wife of a SAHD for a decade, I've come to embrace this most unique lifestle. Together, my husband and I have created a warm, loving environment for our two children. SAHDs who are 100% committed are terrific and I feel lucky that my children have one.

If you want some inspiration, motivation or just a good laugh or two, I encourage you to pick up a copy of this insightful book. It just may be what you need to get through your day. You can order your own copy of "42 Rules for Working Moms" and see for yourself by visiting my site, ParenTeam.com.
