Mobile Mommy

I have had a cellphone for years of course - but my most recent one was an older Blackberry and no data package. Fine as a phone and great for text messaging - but it didn't even have a camera!!

I started looking at my options months ago - my contract was due to expire this year and I wanted to know if it was worth switching carriers or if my current one could meet my needs. I'm with Bell and it turns out they had a new phone coming out that looked like it was going to be the winner, the Samsung Instinct! Other carriers had little that was truly different, except the beautiful iPhone, but the monthly data fees here in Canada are pretty pricey and I didn't think it was worth it to spend an extra $30 per month!

With Bell I was able to stick with my phone plan that was just fine for my needs and just add on an inexpensive unlimited mobile browser package that allows me to surf the mobile web and easily keep up with all my favorite sites! The web browsing on the Instinct isn't get rave reviews from the gadget communities but it is better than being on a basic cellphone by far!

The day the Instinct came out I went to my local store to check it out and I loved it. I quickly signed a new contract and walked away with my pretty new toy....I mean tool!! So far it has been everything I had hoped for - I can check my work email while at the park, see what's happening on Twitter while the boys have a playdate with their cousin and yay I have a camera on the phone. Lots of cute pics of my boys to share with friends! The touch qwerty keyboard is super easy to use too!

Now I'm already for school and soccer season, thank goodness!!!
