I will assume everyone knows I'm talking about the length of your hair. Being a hairstylist for the last 12 years, I have been asked this
question multiple times. It really is a personal preference.
I love my own hair in a bob, curving around my extremely round face. You may notice by my picture that it is now down to the middle of my back.
How'd that happen? Well, it started during my time in the National Guard, when I had to pull my hair back daily. It just seemed easier to keep it long. Now that I'm no longer in the National Guard, I have no reason to keep the length, but I do because it's easy to put up and keep out of the way.
I have a 20-month old daughter who just loves to give it a pull when it's down. But, I find myself being a hypocrite. I've always told my clients, "what's the point of having long hair, if you're just going to wear it up all the time?" Well, on rare occasion, I actually keep it down and either use a straight iron on it or put lare ringlets in it and mess it up.
It really does make me feel pretty when I get a chance to do it, which is seldom.
Short hair can be so nice also. So easy to take care of and way less time consuming to style. But, then again, not much variety of styles. So, I guess it really is a personal preference, but should anyone have any questions, please post them in a comment below.
