Back to School Bash Co-hosted by Type-A Mom and MommyTalk

Hey, moms and dads! Getting ready for back to school isn't easy. We deserve a bash, don't we? Come to this back to school bash for a chance to connect with other moms and win some cool prizes (not JUST back to school gear for kids, but some great goodies for mom too).

What: Back to School Bash with loads of fun, networking and prizes
When: August 16 at 9 p.m. EST

We will also announce the winner of the big Back to School Contest, which you can enter until August 15th. The grand prize is a Back to School Prize Pack worth more than $140.

You can RSVP at Facebook or by commenting below. Then also register at MommyTalk ahead of time (it's free!). Just show up at MommyTalk at the time of the Back to School Bash and hit the chat room.

Here are the great prizes donated by cool sponsors so far, and there are more prizes that are tentative that I will add as details are worked out:

A $25 prepaid Visa gift card courtesy of MommyTalk to help out with that back to school shopping.
A $35 gift certificate to Princess Time Toys, which features a cool mix of fun toys as well as costumes for boys and girls. Their stuff is too cute!
A set of three school-themed books from Kane Miller. I love this publisher because they emphasize amazing independent books for children on subjects I am passionate about, like travel, other cultures, and cooking. The setof three school-themed titles includes Something for School, Kevin Goes to School and Little School.
Two different prizes of environmentally friendly bags from Ecobags. These bags are very cool, and what mom rushing kids to school can't use a green, earth friendly bag?
One last special prize. This is only available to people who stumble or tweet (Twitter post) this page and attend the bash live on August 16th! (Be sure to comment below to let me know). You can be stylin' at your next PTA meeting by winning an official Type-A Mom cap sleeve tee.

I'll try and get an abbreviated article done for the Back to School on the two
articles that I did for Squidoo for their Virtual Bake Sale. One was on Healthy

and the other was on Healthy School Fundraisers, http://www.squidoo.com/healthy-fundraisers for the Back to School Survival Guide and for Foodie Mamma.
Hope to make the
Virtual Bash on Saturday, but the girls are starting soccer games that day, so
