I have been wanting a small but decent quality digital camera for some time. My husband would tell you I didn't "need" it, as we have a few other cameras in our house, but the good camera is big and awkward - great for special occasions but not so much for quick trips to the park! Our other cameras are older film cameras, again good for special uses but too awkward to fit into my purse. So last week I bought myself a little Fujifilm J12 camera - it's got 8.2 megapixels, it's tiny and it's hot pink!!
I've only had this lovely little camera about a week, but I already have pulled it out to use several times. I love that I can just keep it in my purse because it's so tiny. Us moms keep more than enough stuff in our purse that we appreciate small gadgets.
Here's my quick and easy rundown on the camera.

silver, blue or hot pink colours available (I like having colour choice!!)

Other things I noted
The camera charged quickly so I could use it right away. I've had it in my purse for several days and taken several shots each of 5 or 6 times and the battery is still full. I downloaded pics today and it was a quick and easy process onto my laptop - just plugged one side to camera and one side into a usb port.
Negatives
It is a fairly basic point and shoot camera
Not a great flash
For me the good definitely outweighs the bad and I'm really glad I finally have a little camera for my purse. I'm going to add a couple of pics to this article, so you can see what the camera produces (keep in mind I'm not all that accomplished of a photographer!!)
