When you think your life is full of juggling think of me and feel relieved.  I am blessed to have the family I have, but it is far from your average nuclear family or even blended family.  My life is very hectic with four children.  I have two children who go back and fourth to our home and their other parent's home 50% of the time.  I have two other children who stay home 100% of the time.  Now here's where the juggling really starts.

I have a bonus daughter who is 9 and goes to school about fifteen minutes from our home.

I have a son who is 8 and goes to school about 40 minutes from the house.  The details of that is another article.

I have a son who is 9 that goes to school in the district that our home is located in.

Then I have a daughter whom I share with my amazing husband, and she goes to preschool part time about 5 minutes from our home.

Both children that are in the joint custody situation come home every Wednesday and Thursday.  Then every other week they are home from Wednesday through the following Monday.  Is your head spinning yet?

Now I will take you through a typical Thursday:

My husband and I wake up at 6AM to get the children ready for school.

My husband leaves at 645AM to take his daughter to school and then goes to work.

I leave at 645AM to put one son on the bus, then drive 40 minutes to take my other son to school.

I return home around 815AM and  leave again about 845AM to take my little one to preschool.

I return home and pick her back up about 1215PM.

We come home for lunch then leave around 1PM to pick up my son who is about 40 minutes away.  I have to be in the carpool line early so I can be the first one in line.  I need to get back to my bonus daughter's school 30 minutes away from my son's school before she is put in the after-school program for a fee.

I get my son around 225 and head to my bonus daughter's school to get her.  We arrive at her school around 350PM.

Next, we stop by a neighbor's house to get my other son around 310PM.

Now we can go home and start the afternoon routine.
